Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home and set up cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping feature aids your robot vacuums that mop navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my house, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station has to be cleaned as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're looking to save money I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum robot vacuum best mop and vacuum you could find however, its cost and constant maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other best robot vacuum and mop brands that allow you to use your own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the space.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
This machine has one major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly best automatic vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
